Day 1
Day 01: PUNO – UROS ISLAND – TAQUILE ISLAND – PUNO
We pick you up at your hotel and drive 15 minutes from Puno to the Uros in our transport. Upon arrival, the floating islands made of totora reeds will welcome you with their living history and the warmth of its inhabitants. Here you will learn about their customs, their ingenious way of building the islands. Then we will sail in our boat for 1 hour and 30 minutes to Taquile Island. Upon arrival, a 35-minute walk along paths surrounded by breathtaking landscapes and stone arches awaits us. In Taquile, time is lived in a different way, the men weave with amazing skill and the traditional clothing tells stories of identity and pride. Here we will have our typical lunch. The journey culminates with the return to Puno in a relaxing navigation of 1 hour and 45 minutes, closing a perfect day full of culture, landscapes, flavors and tradition.
