Day 1
Day 01: PUNO – SILLUSTANI – PUNO
In the afternoon, we will pick you up at your hotel in Puno on our way to the impressive archaeological site of Sillustani, the largest pre-Inca and Inca cemetery in the region, located just 30 minutes from the city. During the journey, our local guide will tell you secrets and legends of this ancestral land. Upon arrival, you will begin a walk through the funerary towers or “chullpas”. The hike culminates at the top, from where a breathtaking landscape is revealed and we can observe the Umayo Lagoon, a natural mirror surrounded by mountains, which provides a serene and powerful atmosphere. Here, you will have free time to take unforgettable photos, connect with nature or simply let yourself be enveloped by the magic of the place. Around 5:30 p.m., you will return to Puno with a soul full of history, culture and an experience that goes beyond tourism.
