Exclusive Manu Tour 3D/2N

We will wake up early again to have breakfast at the lodge, then we will pack our bags and begin the journey towards Cocha Machuwasi, which is located two hours from CORL. Along the way, we will make stops to observe species that we have not yet seen, we will arrive at Atalaya where we will board the boat for 30 minutes until we reach Cocha Machuwasi where we will observe a wide variety of bird species around a small lagoon, like Hoatzin. After this activity, we will continue to Villa Carmen Lodge, passing through two small towns, Patria and Pilcopata. Upon arrival, we will settle in at the lodge, followed by lunch and a relaxing rest. In the afternoon, we will walk along trails in a bamboo forest where we will find many species, such as tanagers, flycatchers, swallows, jays, orioles and others. After hiking the trails, we will return to the lodge to shower and have dinner.

After breakfast, we visit the Inka Amazonia hummingbird garden for birdwatching and photography, with the possibility of seeing Gould’s Jewelfront and other species. We enjoy a box lunch during the journey. On the return, weather permitting, we may take a final walk in the cloud forest. We then continue by road to Cusco, with an estimated arrival around 5:00 p.m.; the time depends on road and weather conditions.
