Day 1
Day 01: CUSCO - MORAY - MARAS - SALT MINES - CUSCO
We will pick you up from your hotel to transfer you to Cruzpata, our base, from where we will continue by ATV to the first stop at Moray, an archaeological site where the Incas used it as an agronomic laboratory. The average temperature difference between the top and bottom of the terraces reaches up to 15°C on the main terrace which is approximately 30 meters deep. Then we head to the salt mines located 7 km from Moray, passing through a typical Spanish village called Maras. The locals still use these salt mines, extracting the salt in a natural way. Then we will return to Cruzpata with the ATVs and our transport will be waiting for us to return to Cusco.
