    Day 1

    Day 01: CUSCO - CLOUD FOREST - BAMBU LODGE

    Duration: Total time 9 ½ hours including mainly the bus trip; without considering the information stops. Leaving the city of Cusco (3400 masl / 11156ft) very early in the morning in one of our land transports. Touring the interesting inter-Andean valleys and Andean communities. We will visit the Pre-Inca site, then we will arrive at the town of Paucartambo (3025m/9924ft) with Spanish colonial architecture; Folklore capital of Cusco and visit to the interesting museum. Continuing we arrive at the Acjanaco pass (4000m/13123ft) from here we descend to the Cloud Forest to enjoy our lunch along the way, this is a place with many endemic species such as the Cock of the Rock, the national bird of Peru, so we will visit a platform observation area (1600masl/5000ft), we will also be able to observe orchids, bromeliads and tree ferns, and continuing we will arrive at our accommodation in the cloud forest where we will spend the first night of our tour.     Day 02: BAMBU LODGE - ALTO MADRE DE DIOS - DORADO LODGE

    Duration: total time of 9 hours, mainly including bus and boat travel; without considering the information stops. After our very early breakfast, we continue on our bus passing through Pillcopata (527 m / 1729 ft) and then we arrive at the port of Atalaya (500 masl / 1640 ft) located on the banks of the Alto Madre de Dios River, from there we begin to navigate. by the stream. to have the opportunity to enjoy the great diversity of bird species such as herons, vultures, cormorants and visit the Amazon lagoon of Machuhuasi with a great opportunity to see the "shansho" or Hoatzin and more different birds, then we return to our boat to sail to the hot springs to enjoy our lunch here and then continuing by boat we are arriving at our accommodation at El Dorado Lodge (300masl / 986ft), during the navigation we can enjoy our lunch on the boat.     Day 03: DORADO LODGE - CASA MaTSIGUENKA

    Duration: total time 10 hours, mainly including the bus trip; not contemplating stops for lunch or bathrooms. With the first light of day we begin to travel by boat towards the Manu National Park, entering just after the confluence of the Alto Madre de Dios and Manu rivers, we will stop briefly at the Limonal ranger station (310 masl / 1017ft) to sign the Reserve Zone visitor book. Returning to our boat, we will go up the Manu River and at the same time we will enjoy our breakfast, leaving behind the western facilities to enter the tourist area for approximately 5 hours to the Salvador oxbowl, where we will spend the next two nights. at Casa Machiguenga. During the navigation we can enjoy our lunch and at the same time a great variety of birds such as macaws, egrets, spoonbills and good chances of seeing capybaras, alligators, turtles, monkeys eating from the surrounding trees, and with more luck a wild cat sunbathing on the beaches. After arriving, we can go on a wildlife hike along the large trail system in this virgin rainforest. We will spend the night in the accommodations: Casa Machiguenga (370 meters above sea level / 1213 feet)

    Day 04: COCHA SALVADOR - CASA MATSIGUENKA

Overnight at the accommodation: Casa Machiguenga (370m/1213ft)

    Day 05: MATSIGUENKA HOUSE - COCHA OTORONGO - MAQUISAPAYOJ HOSTEL

    Duration: total time 6 hours, mainly including the boat trip; not contemplating information stops and cleaning services. Early in the morning we will visit Cocha Otorongo Lake, where a 20-meter observation tower in the rainforest canopy overlooking the lake is available for wildlife viewing. After our breakfast on the boat is ready, we will begin sailing down the Manu River to the Limonal ranger station (310 masl / 1017 feet) for approximately 4 hours. We will arrive at the access to visit Lake Blanco (320 masl / 1049ft) using the catamaran to have another opportunity to find the family of giant otters here, returning to our boat and going down the stream of the Madre de Dios River we will arrive at our accommodation in the Lodge.     Day 06: MAQUISAPAYOJ LODGE - BLANQUILLO MACAW CLICK

    Today we get up very early to go down the stream by boat to the beginning of the trail that takes us to the famous macaw clay lick of Blanquillo.     Day 07: MAQUISAPAYOJ LODGE - COLORADO - CUSCO

After a very early breakfast, we take our boat to begin sailing for approximately 4 hours along the Madre de Dios River to the town of Colorado, where we will take our land transportation for approximately 1 and a half hours to the port to take a boat. to cross the Inambari River to the small town of Santa Rosa, where our bus is waiting for us to drive back to Cusco.
