    Day 1

    DAY 1: CUSCO - CLOUD FOREST - RAIN FOREST - DORADO LODGE

    Leaving Cusco early in the morning, we begin a 10-hour trip over the Andes in our private bus, on a road that partly climbs to 4000 meters above sea level. We travel through traditional Quechua communities and through the spectacular Eastern Cordillera of the Andes, along the way, we have some stops, to see the pre-Inka cemetery of Ninamarca or to visit the famous folkloric village of Paucartambo (2900 m above sea level). from sea ). from sea).     DAY 2: DORADO LODGE - RESERVED AREA - CASA MATSIGUENKA LODGE

In the morning if there is activity, we can visit a clay lick where many species of parakeets and parrots eat clay every day. You may also find smaller macaws, such as the chestnut-fronted macaw and the rare blue-headed macaw. After this we took our boat for about 45 minutes down the “Madre de Dios” river.
