MANU RESERVED DELUXE BUS - FLIGHT 5D/4N

We will board our private boat, we will sail for approximately 6 hours. On the Alto Madre de Dios River, we will visit Lake Machuwasi, where we will explore and navigate its waters on a wooden rowing raft. Around you can see species of birds, insects, monkeys, etc. We return to the boat and continue sailing down the river, along the way we will see flora and fauna, we will visit the thermo-medicinal baths where you can enjoy and relax in the natural pools. We continue sailing until we reach the Dorado Lodge located (350 meters above sea level), where we will spend the night (double rooms with private bathroom). Before or after dinner we will take a night walk along its trails.

Very early in the morning, we will board our motor boat to navigate the upper reaches of the Madre de Dios River. We will have breakfast on the boat while we head to the Limonal checkpoint, where the park rangers will welcome us and give us brief information about the Manu National Park. Afterwards, we will continue sailing along the Manu River for approximately 6 hours in the middle of immense trees, listening to howls, bird songs, etc. Depending on the climate we will have the possibility of observing the biodiversity of species of macaws, birds, eagles, mammals such as the jaguar (onca panther), capybaras, tapirs, monkeys, etc. Reptiles such as the 4-meter black caiman (melanosuchus niger), the white caiman (caiman crocodrylus), the anaconda (eunectes murinus) and the taricayas (podocnemis unifilis). On the way we will visit Cocha Otorongo Lake, from a 20 meter observation tower in the rainforest canopy overlooking the lake, is available for wildlife viewing. In the afternoon we will arrive at the Matsiguenka House where we will spend 2 nights with the Matsiguenka families in double room bungalows with private bathrooms.

Very early in the morning we will see the macaw clay lick, where you will witness one of the most impressive natural spectacles in the Amazon. where dozens of birds pose on the clay wall performing an unforgettable natural spectacle. In the afternoon, we will explore the Cocha Salvador aboard a catamaran, gliding silently through its waters to get close to a few meters of the imposing giant otters in full fishing activity, in addition to observing birds and monkeys in total freedom. As night falls, the jungle comes to life. We will delve into night walks, discovering amphibians, nocturnal birds and mammals in an environment full of mystery and unique sounds. We will spend the night at Casa Matsiguenka, continuing this exclusive experience in the heart of the Amazon.

At dawn, we will begin our return sailing along the Manu River, enjoying the last moments in one of the most biodiverse ecosystems on the planet. After check-out, we will go to the Boca Manu airfield to take our flight back to Cusco This culminates an exclusive, authentic and unforgettable experience in the heart of the Peruvian Amazon.
