    Day 1

    Day 01: CUSCO - CLOUD FOREST TO BAMBU LODGE

    Leaving Cusco early in the morning, we begin an 8-hour trip over the Andes in our private bus, on a road that partly climbs to 4,000 meters above sea level. We travel through traditional Quechua communities and through the spectacular eastern Andes mountain range, along the way, we have some stops, to see the pre-Inka cemetery of Ninamarca or to visit the famous folkloric village of Paucartambo (2900 meters above sea level). Then we continue to “Acjanaco”, the entrance of the park from here we descend the eastern slopes of the Andes through the cloud forest with lush vegetation (bromeliads, ferns, orchids, etc.) in the cloud forest we can observe fauna such as our national bird, the red cock-of-the-rock ( Rupicola peruviana ) showing its mating dance. You can see brightly colored quetzals, trogons, tanagers and possibly the first monkeys, such as the capuchin or woolly monkey). In the afternoon we arrive at Bambu Lodge (700 meters above sea level), where we will have dinner and then spend the night in double rooms with private bathrooms.

    Day 02: BAMBU LODGE - ATALAYA - DORADO LODGE

    After our very early breakfast, we continue on our bus passing through Pillcopata (527 meters above sea level) and then we arrive at the port of Atalaya (500 meters above sea level) located on the banks of the Alto Madre de Dios River, from there we begin to navigate the stream. to have the opportunity to enjoy the great diversity of bird species such as herons, vultures, cormorants and visit the Amazonian pond of Machuhuasi with a great opportunity to see the "shansho" or Hoatzin and more different birds, then we return to our river boat down to visit the Hot Springs to enjoy our lunch here and then go by boat to sail to our accommodation at the Dorado Lodge (350 meters above sea level), during the navigation we can enjoy our lunch on the boat. We have the opportunity to visit the observation platform in the mammal clay lick area, arriving after a hike along the trail system from the lodge located at the beginning of the lowland rainforest Overnight at accommodations: Dorado Lodge (350 meters above sea level).

    Day 03: DORADO LODGE - AREA RESERVED AT CASA MATSIGUENKA

Then we enter the reserved area and continue our journey for about 4-5 hours over the Manu River until we reach Casa Matshiguenka Lodge. Along the way we can see a lot of biodiversity such as birds, capybaras, monkeys, alligators and tapirs. With luck we will also be able to see the largest cat in South America, the jaguar. We spent the night at Casa Matsiguenka located in the Manu National Park. Double rooms and shared bathroom.

    Day 4

    Day 04: COCHA SALVADOR AND COCHA OTORONGO

    This day we will visit by catamaran the famous lake "Cocha Salvador", home of the giant otters, this Cocha Salvador is the highlight in Manu Park. especially in the dry season, it is full of nesting and feeding birds such as herons, egrets, alligator caimans (South American relatives of alligators), terns, skimmers, bump-headed capuchin monkeys, and large-headed capuchin monkeys that generally feed of nearby fruits. to name a few. In the afternoon we have time to explore the area's trails and a visit to Cocha Otorongo Lake is planned, where a 10-meter observation tower in the rainforest canopy overlooking the lake is available for wildlife viewing. We spent our second night at Casa Machiguenga Lodge. Double rooms and shared bathroom.

    Day 5

    Day 05: MATSIGUENKA HOUSE - MAQUISAPAYOJ LODGE

    We leave early to travel 6 hours along the Manu River along the river beaches, we can see more wildlife such as monkeys, alligators, birds, capybaras, etc. We make a brief stop in the town of Boca Manu, the main settlement in Manu. . Named for the confluence of the sediment-rich Manu River with the wider Madre de Dios River after the city of Boca Manu we arrived at the Maquisapayoc lodge. Once at the lodge we will take a walk to the mammal clay lick, where we will look for tapirs, deer monkeys and other animals that visit the salt lick. After returning to the lodge, we explored the forest on a night walk to see frogs, insects and snakes etc. Optional night on the platform in the salt flat. Night in double rooms with private bathroom.

    Day 6

    Day 06: MAQUISAPAYOJ LODGE - COLORADO - PUERTO MALDONADO

    Duration: Total time 13 hours including mainly boat travel and land transportation; not contemplating information stops and cleaning services. After a very early breakfast, we take our boat to begin sailing for approximately 4 hours along the Madre de Dios River to the town of Colorado, where we will take our land transportation for approximately 1 and a half hours to the port to take a boat. to cross the Inambari River to the small town of Santa Rosa, where our bus is waiting for us to drive back to Cusco. We traveled on the paved transoceanic highway through the cloud forest and up into the Andes, with a spectacular view of Ausangate Mountain in the afternoon. We arrived in Cusco in the afternoon; transfer to your hotel. Optional: Return to Lima by plane.
