We will wake up early again to have breakfast at the lodge, then we will pack our bags and begin the journey towards Cocha Machuwasi, which is located two hours from CORL. Along the way, we will make stops to observe species that we have not yet seen, we will arrive at Atalaya where we will board the boat for 30 minutes until we reach Cocha Machuwasi where we will observe a wide variety of bird species around a small lagoon, like Hoatzin. After this activity, we will continue to Villa Carmen Lodge, passing through two small towns, Patria and Pilcopata. Upon arrival, we will settle in at the lodge, followed by lunch and a relaxing rest. In the afternoon, we will walk along trails in a bamboo forest where we will find many species, such as tanagers, flycatchers, swallows, jays, orioles and others. After hiking the trails, we will return to the lodge to shower and have dinner.

In the morning, after a delicious breakfast, we will begin our visit along the lodge's trail circuit, seeking to spot other birds such as colorful macaws such as the Blue and yellow macaw (Ara ararauna), the Scarlet macaw (Ara macao) or the Big-headed macaw (Ara chloropterus) and with good luck troops of monkeys such as the Capuchins (Sapajus apella) to return to the lodge for our lunch. After resting we headed to a point in the river to swim and also to do some traditional fishing and try to catch something. After enjoying our dinner we will visit the mammal clay lick waiting for a Sachavaca or Tapir (Tapirus terrestris) with great luck.

After a quick hot drink we begin the walk to the hideout to wait for the arrival of the parrots, lorikeets and macaws that with great luck will also come to lick clay, species such as the very rare Blue-headed macaw, Chestnut-fronted macaw, Auroras (Amazona sp.), Blue-headed parrot (Pionus sp.), then we return to the lodge for a delicious breakfast; Unfortunately it will be time to return to Cusco: first by 4x4 pick up and then in the town of Villa Salvación in our private minibus to Cusco with a previous stop to visit the Pico de Hoz Picaflores Garden and then on the way enjoy our box lunch. On the way back, weather permitting, we can do another hike in the cloud forest for our last chance to see some animals. Then we will continue with our return trip to the city of Cusco.
