Day 1
VISIT 1: SACRED GARDEN HUMMINGBIRD SANCTUARY
In the morning, our guide specialized in avifauna will pick you up from your hotel between 5:00 a.m. and 5:30 a.m. in a private minivan to start an unforgettable experience of immersion in the Andean nature. Sighting time 2 hours approximately. We will head to the Pachacutec Hummingbird Sanctuary dedicated to the conservation of wild flora and fauna. We continue our trip in our tourist transportation for 1 hour to our next destination, Ensifera Camp, where we will be able to observe bird species and hummingbirds such as: Rust-and-yellow Tanager (Thlypopsis ruficeps), green-and-white Hummingbird (Elliotomyia viridicauda) , Moustached Flowerpiercer (Diglossa mystacalis) , Tyrian Metaltail (Metallura tyrianthina) , Shining Sunbeam (Aglaeactis cupripennis) , White-tufted Sunbea (Aglaeactis castelnaudii) , Violet-throated Starfrontlet (Coeligena violifer) , Mountain Velvetbreast (Lafresnaya lafresnayi) , Sword-billed Hummingbird (Ensifera ensifera) , Red-crested Cotinga (Ampelion rubrocristatus) , Giant Conebill (Conirostrum binghami) , Tit-like Dacnis (Xenodacnis parina) y Rusty-fronted Canastero (Asthenes ottonis).

VISIT 3: HUAYPO LAGOON
After bird watching we will take our tourist transportation for 15 minutes to our restaurant to enjoy a buffet lunch in Urubamba. Then we will continue for 30 min. to the wonderful Huaypo Lagoon considered as a mirror of water, ideal for bird watching, with records of up to 94 species. Free time to explore and hike around the lagoon and enjoy the natural scenery, photograph and observe bird species such as: Burrowing Owl (Athene cunicularia) , Crested (DuckLophonetta specularioides) , White-cheeked Pintail (Anas bahamensis) , Silvery Grebe (Podiceps occipitalis) , Spotted Sandpiper (Actitis macularius) , Chilean Flamingo (Phoenicopterus chilensis) , Cream-winged Cinclodes (Cinclodes albiventris) , Little Blue Heron (Egretta caerulea) , Aplomado Falcon (Falco femoralis) , Andean Lapwing (Vanellus resplendens) y Many-colored Rush Tyrant (Tachuris rubrigastra).
